Privacy Policy for AI Note Taker: Voice To Notes

This Privacy Policy applies only to the Android application AI Note Taker: Voice To Notes (com.ai.note.taker.notebook), published by Uzeegar. Our other applications have their own privacy policies.

By using this app, you agree to this policy.

1. Summary

This app records audio, converts it to text, and uses artificial intelligence to produce structured notes. To do this, your audio recordings and the text produced from them are sent to a third-party artificial intelligence provider for processing.

The app also displays advertisements and collects anonymous usage statistics.

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other information that identifies you personally. No account is required.

2. Information we process

2.1 Audio recordings. When you record audio, or select an existing audio or video file, that audio is stored on your device and transmitted to our artificial intelligence provider, OpenAI, for transcription. We do not store your audio recordings on any server of our own.

Audio recordings are stored on your device and are removed when you delete the note they belong to. Uninstalling the app removes all app data including recordings.

2.2 Text you provide, and text produced from your audio. This includes transcripts of your recordings, text you type or paste, and text extracted from documents you import. This text is stored on your device and transmitted to OpenAI to generate summaries and structured notes. If you use the translation feature, the text is also transmitted to Google Translate. We do not store this text on any server of our own.

2.3 Documents you import. Text extracted from imported documents is treated as described in 2.2. We do not retain the original file.

2.4 Usage statistics. We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used — for example, which features are opened and whether an operation succeeded or failed. This information is not linked to your identity.

2.5 Crash and performance data. We use Google Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance Monitoring to detect and diagnose faults. These collect technical information about crashes, device model, operating system version, and app performance.

2.6 Advertising identifiers. The app displays advertisements. Our advertising partners collect your device's advertising identifier and technical device information in order to select and measure advertisements. We do not access your advertising identifier ourselves.

2.7 Subscriptions. Subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play. We never receive or store your payment details. The app only checks with Google Play whether an active subscription exists.

3. Third parties who receive your information

OpenAI — receives audio recordings, transcripts and text you provide, for transcription and AI note generation

4. Why we process your information

To provide the app's core function — transcription, AI note generation and translation
To improve the app — anonymous usage statistics and crash reports
To display advertisements — which fund the free version of the app
To manage subscriptions

5. Security

All information transmitted from the app is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Your notes and recordings are stored on your device in the app's private storage, which other applications cannot read.

Your notes, recordings and app settings are excluded from automatic cloud backup, so they are not copied to any cloud storage service. When you transfer to a new device, your notes are carried across directly.

6. How long information is kept

On your device — your notes and recordings remain until you delete them or uninstall the app.

With our AI provider — OpenAI retains data submitted through its API for a limited period in accordance with its own policy. We do not control that retention period.

With advertising and analytics providers — retention is governed by each provider's own policy.

7. Your choices

Recording. The app cannot record audio unless you grant microphone permission, and you can withdraw it at any time in your device settings. Without it, recording will not work.

Deleting your notes. You can delete any note within the app, which also removes its audio recording from your device. Uninstalling removes all app data.

Advertising. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings, under Settings → Google → Ads.

Personalised advertising in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. When you first open the app you are asked for your advertising preferences. This choice is made at first launch and cannot currently be changed within the app. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings, as described above.

8. Data deletion requests

We do not hold your notes or recordings on any server of our own, so there is no account for us to delete. Deleting notes within the app, or uninstalling the app, removes them from your device.

9. Children

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through this app, contact us and we will address it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change, and the current version will always be available at this address.

3. Location Data:

Some of the apps may request your Location data for a functional purpose. We may use various technologies to determine location, such as GPS, Wi-Fi or other network-based data such as IP address. Your GPS geo-location is not accessed without your consent. We do NOT provide your Location data for advertising networks and third parties. We do not even store your data

4. Personal Data:

Personal data means personally identifiable information that specifically identifies you as an individual (e.g. your name, email address). We never collect and / or store Personal data.

Please note that your access to and use of the apps may be subject to certain third-party terms and conditions and privacy policies. You recognize and agree that we is not liable for any such third-party terms and conditions and any third party's use of your Personal data. 6. Disclosure and Transfer of Personal Data:

We disclose information to respond to subpoenas, court orders and other legal processes as well as to establish/exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. We will share Personal data and Non-personal data in order to investigate, prevent or take action against illegal activities, suspected fraud, potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Use or as otherwise required by law.

Uzeegar may, in its sole discretion, change this Privacy Policy from time to time, any and all changes will be reflected here and the date new versions are posted will be stated at the top of this Privacy Policy, so please review it periodically.
